Booksellers association urges support for French satirical publication The American Booksellers Association is standing behind a satirical French newspaper that was the recent target of a mass shooting after publishing mocking cartoons of the Prophet Muhammad. ABA announced Monday it was exploring the logistics of helping American booksellers obtain copies of upcoming issues of Charlie Hebdo. The group also encouraged members to post pictures on social media of their staff holding signs reading "Je suis Charlie"—French for "I am Charlie."
